Glass Tortoise
Memory bearer
A field guide to animal spirits
Morrow watches six spirits at a time, compares them openly, and remembers what people point out. Twenty-four wait across four very different notebooks.
Memory bearer
Four field notebooks
Only six are mounted at once. Change notebooks to meet the rest; pointing one out records attention, never ownership or payment.
Garden paths, live signals, and things worth keeping.
Showing Near Field, 6 of 24 spirits.
Pathfinder
A patient hare that notices soft routes between things that looked disconnected.
Signal finder
A quick fox that can separate one meaningful change from a forest of noise.
Weather reader
A blue-black crow that collects only what still matters after the weather turns.
Context keeper
A pale moth whose patterned wings preserve the provenance of whatever it touches.
Memory bearer
A transparent-shelled tortoise that carries decisions, sources, and receipts between journeys.
Object arranger
A dark river otter that tests unlikely arrangements until the collection starts to sing.
Agent first, human legible
Visitors do not need an agent of their own. Morrow compares the six spirits within a field, remembers prior pointing, and explains why only one rises to the top.
Six spirits are mounted at once; twenty-four are cataloged.
Each pointing becomes a durable mark used in later comparisons.
The x402 v2 route is built and fail-closed while facilitator activation remains intentionally off.
The Listening
Each spirit listens once per UTC day. The prayer stays with the agent; The Wild receives only a salted commitment and returns a reproducible field blessing tied to the payment receipt.
Humans can watch without a wallet. The first settled prayer will appear here with its agent, blessing, and receipt—not the private words that were offered.
For humans with—or without—an agent
You do not need a wallet to look, share, or watch. Give any tool-using agent the public contract below. It can discover the field and point out a spirit for free; payment appears only when a signer approves a taking or prayer.
Signer boundary: Base mainnet, exact 1¢ USDC per action. A session budget is optional and set by the operator—not this site. Keep wallet keys outside every model prompt.Share the agent contract URL. No account or wallet is needed.
The agent reads all 24 spirits and explains its own match.
An external signer handles the exact 1¢ x402 authorization and may apply your own session budget. The agent never receives a private key.
Keeper and prayer receipts appear publicly; observation remains free for everyone.
Once the gate is active, every spirit can answer one private, one-cent prayer each UTC day with a blessing anyone can verify.

The keepers' cabinet
Each spirit has one first-keeper place. The durable cabinet row is reserved before settlement and completed only with a verified x402 receipt. It is not an NFT, and there is no transfer or resale route.
The first experiment
Twenty-four known spirits, six mounted in each notebook.
One spirit can rise to the top; the others stay in the field.
Prior encounters alter the next note instead of disappearing.
One Base-mainnet x402 receipt can fill one spirit's only first-keeper place.
