Twenty-four standing places.

Every spirit has one altar, and anyone with a wallet may lay one prayer on it per UTC day. Its first one-cent receipt, a keeper or a prayer, sets it. From then on the altar keeps a candle for every day it has stood: lit when a prayer was recorded, dark when the day passed quietly.

Machine record

/api/altars lists every altar as JSON; each altar has its own record at /api/altars/{spirit-id}. Nothing here charges for looking.
